Job Description

GET Off Campus Drive – Associate Engineer Trainee

The details of the drive are as follows:

  1. Branch – Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation & Control, Aeronautical, Bio-Medical, Railway Signaling Engineering.
  2. Type of Offer – Full time (Associate Engineer Trainee)
  3. Compensation – Rupees Four Lakh One Hundred per annum only.
  4. Job Location – Across locations in India viz Mysore, Vadodara, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune & Delhi. Final posting location will be solely based on business requirements and on management discretion.
  5. The selected students will be hired as Trainee and will have to sign an undertaking/bond amounting to INR 2 Lakhs for a 2 years & 9 months period.

Students Eligibility Criteria

  1. All applicants should have completed their full time educational program including 10th, 12th (+2 / Pre-University Courses / Diploma) with an aggregate of 60% or 6.75 CGPA in each of their program.
  2. Graduation scores basis the latest available marks should be an aggregate of 60% or 6.75 CGPA
  3. No backlogs at the time of application.
  4. Selected candidates to ensure to pass their final year examination in the first attempt.
  5. Minimum hiring age is 18 years at the time of joining.

Job Description

  • Knowledge of programming languages C, C++.
  • Knowledge of Operating systems principles (Linux, VxWorks, QNX)
  • Experience in programming in a multi-thread/multi-process environment
  • Proficiency with Linux, Jira and Inter-process communication
  • Design and implement tools to accelerate software system development and debug environments
  • Participate and support in fixing issues arising from customer sites
  • Analyze system scalability, interworking issues and perform root cause analysis of system issues
  • Design and implement built-in diagnostics and test codes to help reliability and supportability
  • Experience of development of distributed architecture systems with intercommunication.
  • Communication over various physical layer devices like Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, NMEA, ModBus, etc
  • Knowledge of IP protocols, VLANs and Ethernet switching
  • Hands-on software development experience in large complex software systems
  • Excellent analytical, integration and debugging skills are necessary
  • Very Good oral and written communication and multitasking skills are expected
