Job Description:

The Financial Associate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial documents required to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This role involves working on financial statements, regulatory filings, and ensuring that all reports are compliant, accurate, and understandable to investors, creditors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements including:
    • Balance Sheets
    • Statements of Income
    • Cash Flow Statements
      All reports must comply with US-GAAP standards.
  • Analyze company financial information for accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle regulatory reporting for US companies, including:
    • Annual Report (10-K)
    • Quarterly Report (10-Q)
  • Ensure proper accounting entries (debit and credit) for clarity and transparency.
  • Work with XBRL for filing and reporting purposes.
  • Maintain effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Requirements:

  • UG: B.Com in Commerce
  • PG: M.Com in Commerce or MBA/PGDM in Finance

Required Skills:

  • Strong accounting knowledge
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and financial reporting
  • Understanding of SEC regulatory filings
  • Knowledge of XBRL
  • Good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Financial statement analysis
  • Expertise in balance sheets and income statements
