Job Description

The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client site, ensuring it meets 100% quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Test Design & Execution

  • Understand testing requirements and design comprehensive test cases.
  • Develop detailed test plans aligned with business and testable requirements.
  • Implement Wipro’s Model-Based Testing methodology for efficient test generation.
  • Ensure all test cases are peer-reviewed to minimize rework.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test scenarios.
  • Define testing criteria, scope, and parameters. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Automation & Efficiency

  • Automate testing lifecycle processes using tools such as VB macros, GUI automation, and scheduling scripts.
  • Design and maintain the automation framework and reporting systems.
  • Set up test environments, develop and execute automated test cases and scenarios.

Quality Assurance & Defect Management

  • Ensure defects are logged in accordance with defined norms, with clear descriptions and replication steps.
  • Detect bugs, file detailed defect reports, and track resolution progress.
  • Deliver 100% SLA compliance and prevent any instances of work rejection or slippage.
  • Create and share test status dashboards at the end of each testing cycle.

Customer Focus & Communication

  • Maintain high-quality customer interactions via email, voice calls, and documentation.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests and maintain high satisfaction levels (CSAT).
  • Deliver accurate and timely reports including Weekly Status Reports (WSRs) and execution reports.
