Job Description

The Network Operations Center (NOC) serves as the central command and control center for Transportation Execution within Amazon’s vast supply chain network. Supporting multiple geographies, including North America (NA), India, and Europe (EU), the NOC ensures seamless and timely movement of freight from vendors to Amazon fulfillment centers (FC) and from FCs to carrier hubs.

The NOC team plays a dual role:

Tactical Problem Solving: Resolving exceptions to ensure timely execution and keeping stakeholders informed.
Process Improvement: Monitoring network trends, conducting data analysis, and automating processes to enhance operations.

The NOC directly impacts Amazon’s ability to serve customers efficiently, making it a vital component of the company’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

Understand execution and daily production goals to meet operational requirements.
Regularly review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist with execution duties, including training associates and verifying SOP compliance.
Handle incoming work requests within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Provide guidance and direction using independent judgment.
Conduct regular audits to ensure associate engagement and adherence to standard work practices.
Assist shift managers in executing shifts effectively.
