Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Data Source Management: Create and maintain data sources for various use cases, powering business reports and internal workflows.
- Effective Presentation: Present findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders, creating visual displays of quantitative information.
- Report Development: Develop and automate reports, build and prototype dashboards iteratively to provide insights at scale, solving analytical needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business needs, and execute end-to-end analysis, including data gathering, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations.
- Data Understanding & Advocacy: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Prodigal’s data structures and metrics, advocating for necessary changes to products, business activities, and external marketing spend trends.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior analysts to support their development and improve team performance.
What You Should Have:
- A recent graduate from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college, or 1 year of prior data analytics experience.
- A degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or any other quantitative field (advanced degrees are a plus).
- Experience in statistical analysis and data wrangling using tools such as Excel, Python, SQL, and Tableau, with knowledge of PySpark being advantageous. Prior experience with Databricks is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate results to managers and stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and interpret results to drive strategic decision-making.
- Previous experience in mentoring junior team members.
