Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Application Support Engineer with a solid foundation in database systems, cloud platforms, and support processes. The ideal candidate should possess good knowledge of SQL Server, a basic understanding of AWS and Kubernetes, and demonstrate strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain SQL Server databases; write and troubleshoot SQL queries as needed.
- Support cloud infrastructure operations with a basic understanding of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Assist with containerized application support and basic troubleshooting of Kubernetes PODs.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve incidents and service requests.
- Follow standard support processes, escalate issues appropriately, and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in a rotational 24×7 on-site support schedule, including night and weekend shifts as required.
Mandatory Skills Description:
- Database Knowledge: Good Knowledge of relational databases, SQL Server.
- AWS: Basic understanding of EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch.
- Kubernetes: Basic understanding of PODs.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
- Support: Good Knowledge of Support Process.
Candidate should be ready to work in 24×7 environment in the office.
