Job Description
Responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to support decision-making and provide insights.
Works with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations to help optimize business operations.
Utilizes various tools, techniques, and analytical skills to extract meaningful insights and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Participates as a member of a data science team in the investigation, design, development, and implementation of data science projects.
- Uses statistical tools and techniques to identify process gaps, root causes, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Applies statistical, machine learning, and business intelligence techniques to generate actionable insights.
- Executes data collection, analysis procedures, and data visualization in accordance with project plans.
- Assists with experiments and validations as planned by the team.
- Collects, records, and analyzes data using standard protocols and communicates findings for team feedback.
- Helps prepare literature and presentations for peer review, publication, and industry/scientific conferences.
- Supports creation of patent applications and related documentation.
- Applies foundational data science principles and contributes through regular updates and analysis.
- Supports key projects under guidance, maintains internal stakeholder relationships, and provides standardized reports.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent experience/demonstrated competence.
- Typically 0–2 years of experience in data analytics, database management, statistical analysis, or a related area.
