IGMK Jr. Technician Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: (As on 07.07.2023)
| 1. Supervisor (OL) – Essential Qualifications: Master Degree from a recognized University in Hindi or English with English/Hindi subject at Graduation level (i.e. Hindi in case the Candidate is Post-graduate in English and vice-versa.) AND One year experience in translation from Hindi to English and viceversa. Desirable: i. Knowledge of Sanskrit and/or any other modern Indian language. ii. Proficiency in working on computers in Hindi language. |
| 2. Engraver – Essential Qualifications: Bachelor of Fine Arts (Metal Works) with at least 55% marks. |
| 3. Jr. Technician (Burnisher) – Essential Qualifications: a) Full time I.T.I. certificate in Goldsmith trade recognized from NCVT/SCVT. OR b) 1. Matriculate + ITI in any trade (NCVT/SCVT courses). AND 2. Short-term courses based on Modular Employable Skills (MES) in Gems and Jewelry sector recognized by Director General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour & Employment. OR c) ITI 2 years course in Goldsmith trade under the Non engineering category. |
Age Limit: (As on 07.07.2023)

| 2. Engraver – 18 years to 28 years. |
| 3. Jr. Technician (Burnisher) – 18 years to 25 years |
The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. IGMK Jr. Technician Selection Process 2023:
IGMK may follow the following process to select the candidates.

| The Online examination will be held tentatively in the month of August 2023 – September 2023. Applicants are advised to keep checking the India Government Mint, Kolkata website for updates. The exact date, session, reporting time of examination will be mentioned in the call letter. |
Application Fee/Exam Fee for IGMK Jr. Technician:
| Rs. 600/-(inclusive of GST) for all applicants applying for each post. No Application fees is required to be paid by SC/ST/PWD candidate but Intimation charges of Rs. 200/- (including GST) is to be paid by candidates belonging to SC/ST /PWD category for each post. |
