TNPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam Pattern
All the questions are objective type. There is no negative marking for a wrong answer. The complete paper is of 300 marks. Each question weighs 1.5 marks.

TNPSC Group 1 Mains Exam Pattern
You will get 3 hours to solve each paper. Each paper has descriptive questions. The number of questions varies in each chapter and tests the candidate’s knowledge across several domains.
Mains is a descriptive examination, the right answers will be marked subjectively by the examiners. Candidates are advised to prepare for these papers thoroughly as they are based on conceptual questions.
